Base Camp Emergency Radio Midland Radio

We needed a Base Camp Emergency Radio. Living in Florida, Hurricane season is a reality. Thankfully Midland Radio make the season a little safer with their Base Camp radio. This is an emergency crank weather radio that allows our family to always be prepared in the event of a storm.  It is important to keep abreast of important weather alerts, but it is also a blessing to be able to play joyous music to entertain our children during these stressful times.

This Base Camp Emergency Radio is also great for camping. It has an alarm clock, AM/FM radio, flashlight and a two-way radio. My favorite feature is the USB connector to charge our cell phone.  I do know that it is important to “disconnect” from the electronic world, but it is also a comfort to know that my cell phone is ready to use in case of an emergency.  Whether you are looking for an emergency weather radio, like to camp or hunt, this is the product for you!!
