Empower Yourself With Color

It always amazes my how empowering a haircut or a new line make-up can be.  Of course the haircut and the make-up has to be radically different then your "norm" to feel the full effect.  I remember years ago, I had just gotten out of a relationship with someone who wanted my hair kept long.  Shortly after it ended I had an appointment to get my hair trimmed and walked out with a very short haircut.  When I got in the car there was a really good song on the radio and I just remember the feeling washing over me of strength and power, and relief.  That was a very powerful day, but I always feel a bit like this when I step out of my comfort zone and try something I normally would not try.

Empower Yourself With Color

Revlon's New Expressions line of make-up is a line of products that certainly takes me out of my comfort zone.  These colors are bright and bold, but in a very beautiful way.  Revlon's goal in creating the line of Expressions is self-expression.  They want you to get out of your comfort zone, get out of your everyday make-up routine, and empower yourself with color.

Revlon began with one single product; nail polish, back in 1932. It was an opaque long-lasting nail enamel sold to beauty salons.  Revlon has a clear vision of glamour, excitement and innovation through high-quality products at affordable prices.  It is no surprise that they have a long-standing reputation as a trendsetter in cosmetics, lipstick, skin care, fragrance, and personal care. Revlon is now one of the strongest consumer brand franchises in the world.

Revlon has an Revlon Expression Experiment Facebook application that allows you express yourself on a daily basis.  I encourage you to go to their Facebook application and create your own expression.  I would love for you to leave comments about your self-expression experiment when you are done.
